Dear Colleagues,

We are happy to inform you that the 2023 edition of the ‘Ganga Hand Operative Course’ will be held from 21st to 23rd July, 2023 at Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore. This is a looked forward to event every year. We conducted the courses even during the Pandemic. In 2022, we resumed to the ‘in person’, format and the good response that we had from the attendees reiterated the idea that nothing could compensate meeting in-person and the live interactions. In that meeting, everyone agreed that learning just does not happen during the period of surgical demonstrations but also during the short talks and message exchanged at lunch and dinner times.

We are back again in 2023 to welcome you all to Ganga. The pandemic also taught us some lessons. Till the time of the pandemic, the Ganga live surgery courses were only in-person meetings. During the pandemic it was a total virtual meeting. At that time, we realized that surgeons and trainees as far away as Argentina and Australia registered for the meeting. Distance was not a constraint for learning. Hence, we have decided to make the event hybrid for you to choose. A high definition live streaming of the surgeries will be done using Microsoft Teams.

After a gap of many years, we are happy to have overseas faculty for the surgical procedures. We are happy to have Mr. Jonathan Hobby and Mr. Dean Boyce from the UK and Mr. Alexander Lluch from Spain this time.
